And to celebrate the new year, I bring you DOODLES! Since I've seen Sweeney Todd four times now, some more fanart is due. Also, new characters.

Speaking of, still have to see Sweeney with Alex, Cat and Sacha... looks like I'll be going to see it again this Saturday. I'm honestly not tired of it yet. It's just so well done. Tim Burton is brilliance. Twisted brilliance, mind you, but brilliance nonetheless. :D
Looking forward to watching From Hell and The Libertine. YAY FOR SYPHILIS AND JACK THE RIPPER. YAY. Although I understand that noses rotting off aren't particularly appealing, but I'm sure Johnny Depp can look good even if his skin looks charbroiled. |

I am largely not happy with the week. But before I get into that, doodles~!
( The only difference between bagels and donuts is that one tastes better than the other- wait, but they still might have cream filling... and now that's just too much innuendo for a lj cut. )
And so there you have my doodles, which I have managed to draw outside of trampling myself with a LARGE AMOUNT OF PRESENTS which coincidentally SO FREAKING FUN to do. Have I mentioned I love giving stuff to people? It makes me happy to make them happy. Plus I love doing art.
Speaking of art... here comes my long rant about not liking my art class. 1. Langraff does not know what she wants. Neither does she know how to properly say it. Second of all: her experience and knowledge may outrank mine, but I am still extremely angry at not being able to express my opinion- even if it is amateur. It's always her way. It irks me largely. 2. There are too many people in our class. Mild claustrophobia has set in. I do not like working with large pieces in small areas. I have too much stuff as it is, which is entirely my fault. >_>
Our class is doing a project in which we need to enlarge charcoal drawings onto a sheet of canvas. Thing is, we ran out of canvas because of the stupid budget cuts to the school. So, Langraff had us enlarge on craft paper. When we went to jesso it, it wrinkled. She said, oh, keep going, it'll be fine. I expressed my concern and she waved it off. Somehow...
Today, it wasn't, it still wrinkled. She left a note with the sub telling her to make us do it on the lighter craft paper. We did. It turned out worse. RRR.
The only reason I am not dropping that class is because I won't be able to do AP's with Eckler next year if I do. I AM VEXED, VEXED I SAY.
/end rant.
Going to see Up the Down Staircase tonight, I believe, if I can get a ride back. If not, then I'm not going.

DA JERNEL GOT DA PIMP'D. I made it prettier. The glaring red and white got old, and now it's toned down and a little darker.
On another note, It's taken me forever to love love love my DA journal. <3 I'm posting news and whatnot on there, but don't worry, I'm still madly in love with this journal! I find it rather annoying that I can't find the right name for a character until I scour all the name on the entire planet earth. Why. I don't know. Maybe I like names a lot.

So, ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) baku_chan and I went to see Beowulf on Saturday. It was action-packed. Totally not fun for the whole family, but it was pretty damn cool. Like 300, but for the Danish. It made me cringe at some parts, though, like the ones that made me go "WHY WOULD YOU CUT OFF YOUR OWN ARM"
However, like I always say, the previews are the best part of the entire movie. And I was right.
It made me make loud dolphin-like noises and left me with a big :D on my face for at least the first five minutes of the movie, until someone got ripped in half.
Afterwards, jwenm and Runa and I went back over to Baku's house and played Persona 3. Man, I need to do copious amounts of fanart for that. It is just so cool. We played that for awhile so Baku could get the feel for it and then Runa, Mari and I Guitar Hero'd out fingers away for the rest of the night. Then I got dropped off at 11, drew a little bit, then dropped immediately off to sleep. Ohman, I missed those guys so much.

That's it, really. Back to school tomorrow, and I need to finish an art project tonight. I really dislike pastels... |

Time for a break from the neverending bleach-ness my art has seemed to aquire these days. I refuse to comment.
Instead, let's try an exercise in writing? Anybody who reads this journal can post a pairing or something or a character and I'll write a reply (a little drabble) about it. If I don't know the pairing, it'll become crack, I guess.
So yeah. Do that.
Moving on. It's Friday. Anime Club after school. I asked David, and he said it was going to be a discussion type meeting. I love those. I can pwn with my unlimited (read: biased) knowledge of nothing whatsoever. ALLELUJAH
Dad's picking me up at four, going to his house, Youth at 6:30 where I shall pwn with my unlimited knowledge of nothing whatsoever. The pizza and wings may or may not improve my thinking capabilities but I do believe that my brain has turned to mush anyway. (The weekend is my regeneration period. Yes, I'm an alien.)
Started planning "A Little Piece of Heaven." Might get it done in time for Christmas. AND YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS

I've honestly never felt so much for a fandom after Naruto than Bleach. I don't know. Watching the musicals, watching the anime, reading the manga, looking at the beautiful art and loving the characters- I can't say how much I'm in love with it.

Bleach has been eating my life.
I got my sick new Black Gi two days ago, and I'm exited to spar in it tonight! It's so much more comfortable, the other one was too small. I finished my extra credit mask project by making a hollow-ish skull mask for El Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) and I think I got an "A" though I didn't present it in Spanish. >_> Oh well...

| Wonderland Syndrome Update |

At this rate, the prologue will be done by tomorrow, and Chapter 1 begun by the day after tomorrow. I'm kind of glad I'm doing these pages in pencil: it makes my life easier, it comes out pretty good, and it's no hassle to finish one each day. Plus, in my opinion, I work better with pencil. And I can draw in class without getting out the broken microns big guns. Plus, with arcanetongue's (my co-author) writing and coloring skillz, I think this project will turn out lovely in the long run!
I can't wait to draw the White Rabbit and Caterpillar. And Cheshire. And the Hatter. Oh, screw it, all of them!
I based Chesh off of Jack, but now I'm thinking of him as a seperate, different character now. With a little less bloodlust, moar creep factor, orange hair in a short ponytail. And lots of sharp teeths. And the catboy-ness. Oh yes, that. Expect arts?
Anyway, just wanted to let you guys know about the update!
Oh, and, for my reference, I need to make a quick list of my characters that I'll actually be using from now on / for Nico's story which I also have yet to name. O_o Uhm...
